12x9 pastel, ready to frame -- "Into the Pines" is a great example of high energy mark making. 2017. If I had room, I'd keep this one. Early in my pastel development, I loved experimenting with making bold marks and letting them accumulate to create the "whole" image -- much like the little dots of gray and different colors that make up magazine images.
