“Road to Rock Run Creek” 2014 oil on primed MFD panel, 6x6, ready to frame. This older oil landscape of mine has inspired me to do many works and use the warm oranges and reds featured here. The DNR space north of my home has always been a source of inspiration. Many of the dead end roads only offer parking, but this one takes people to a makeshift trail that locals know well and takes them back to a waterfalls near the head waters of what USGS maps call Rock Run. This piece still has a sticker on the back with information about the location, even the temperature of the day it was painted.
