Learn to paint with pastels and hone your skills. Avon Waters will live stream from YouTube to walk through the process of painting a new pastel work. Paint along or watch and later and paint at your own pace with access to the event recording.

If you want to paint along, any medium will work, but if you want to try pastels, you will need:

• PASTELS — any hobby store has inexpensive sets, buy the set with the most colors you can afford.

  
  

• PASTEL PAPER — any watercolor paper with a smooth surface will work for now. If you like pastel, later I can guide you to better papers. U-Art Sanded papers are great if you know you like pastel painting already, get the sanded. In a pinch...drawing…
