Drawings are my favorite way to relax after a morning of painting in the studio. It also is a way I experiment with ideas to paint from. Most of these works are neither, they are finished pieces of works that stand on their own. In Europe, drawings are a finished artwork, much more so than here in the USA. Some of these works have more hours in them than most paintings.
